Primarily designed to amplify the heating area, these fins play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall heat transfer rate. Crafted from premium-grade metals such as 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, SA-210C, SA-213T91, and 30CrMoA, the fins exhibit remarkable resistance to high temperatures and corrosion, ensuring consistent and long-term operational stability. During the fin manufacturing process, a keen focus is placed on balancing cost-effectiveness with advanced processing technology.

The strategic use of fins is a game-changer in addressing the prevalent issue of scaling on the inner walls of boiler superheater tubes. Scaling typically diminishes the heat transfer area of the tube wall, thereby impairing heat transfer efficiency. By employing fins, not only is this challenge effectively mitigated, but the operational costs of boilers are also reduced. This is achieved by minimizing fuel consumption and significantly enhancing boiler efficiency.


Functional characteristics of boiler tube fins:
1. Increase heating area: The integration of fins substantially augments the surface area surrounding the tube. This design allows the smoke flowing between the fins to transfer heat more proficiently to the internal medium, often steam, thereby significantly boosting the heat transfer capacity per unit volume.

2. Improve heat transfer efficiency: An expanded heating area is intrinsically linked to an elevated heat transfer coefficient, resulting in a more rapid and effective heat transfer process. This is critical for optimizing boiler efficiency and precise steam temperature regulation.

3. Diverse structural forms: Fins are available in a variety of structural configurations, including spiral shapes that continuously encircle the steel pipe, secured firmly through high-frequency welding for durability. Alternatively, they can be designed as separate circular sheets, which, despite being subject to single forces, are advantageous in reducing dust accumulation and eliminating dead corners in certain applications.

4. Membrane wall application: In water-cooled wall constructions, the deployment of finned tubes is referred to as a "membrane wall". This not only amplifies the heating surface but also enhances sealing performance, thereby reducing boiler air leakage and bolstering overall thermal efficiency.

6. Welding strength and stability: High-quality finned tubes are subjected to rigorous welding strength tests, including pull-out force tests that require a minimum threshold of 200MPa.
