Functional characteristics of boiler tube fins:
1. Increase heating area: Designed to substantially enlarge the surface area of the tube's exterior, the fins allow the smoke flowing between them to efficiently channel heat into the medium inside the tube, often steam, thereby significantly elevating the heat transfer capacity per unit volume.
2. Improve heat transfer efficiency: The correlation between a larger heating area and an elevated heat transfer coefficient is direct, fostering a rapid and effective heat transfer process. This advancement is instrumental in securing optimal boiler efficiency and precise steam temperature regulation.
3. Diverse structural forms: These fins offer versatile designs, such as spirals that seamlessly wrap around the steel pipe, firmly secured by high-frequency welding to prevent detachment.
