Functional characteristics of boiler tube fins:
1. Increase heating area: The strategically designed fins expand the outer surface area of the tube, facilitating a more efficient transfer of heat from the smoke flowing between the fins to the medium inside the tube (commonly steam). This innovative design significantly boosts the heat transfer capacity per unit volume.
2. Improve heat transfer efficiency: An expanded heating area directly correlates to a heightened heat transfer coefficient. This ensures a more rapid and effective heat transfer process, which is crucial for maintaining optimal boiler efficiency and precise steam temperature control.
